The story has it that there was a rare flying bird in ancient times that is famous for its bright-colored plumes. The male one was in red and thus called “Fei” bird; the female one was in blue and called “Cui” bird; so the names were combined into “Feicui” (Emerald). In 1662 A.D., the Jade of Burma had migrated into China with an excellent calling of “the Jade Champion”. As this kind of precious stone was similar to Feicui Bird in shade by borrowing its redness and blueness simultaneously and thus renamed “Emerald”. The camera men were busy around in Cuihuangge at noon. All kinds of emerald ornaments illuminated clear and bright lights on the front desk covered with the black silk and satin cloth under the lamp. Through the shining rays, Mrs. Zhang , President of Cuihuangge was helping lay out these treasures of her with a smiling face, soft gentle hands and a comfortable poised temperament which is absent from the modern city for so long. |
