At the start of the 1990’s, China was experiencing an economic bloom brought about by its reform and opening. At the same time, a beautiful lady, Zhang Lan completed her overseas education and returned to her hometown. She opened the Alan restaurant in Beijing and devoted herself to not only the tough and fierce F&B industry, but more importantly to her customers. With her kindness and perseverance, she began a life full with the joys and sorrows.
The F&B industry is an unpredictable market; a long history in China has given it a unique background and culture. As a result, an intricate future lay ahead for Zhang Lan. The more knowledge one has in a certain industry and its environment, the less risk one will take.
